Falling in Love
Let’s assume
For the sake of argument
That falling in love
Is something over which
We have no control
I remember standing there
Completely awestruck
Staring like a complete idiot
At the subject of revelation
A woman I never met before
The sound of steel trap doors
Slamming shut behind me
Alarm bells screaming in my ears
