Reader Appreciation Award

I’ve been nominated for the Reader Appreciation Award by: http://xxculture.wordpress.com/. This is a gift from an extremely multi talented friend, who happens to appreciate my writings. I must say, when I woke up this morning, I was very excited to find out because this nomination is my first. Thanks, xxxculture!

How It Works:

1.  Include the award logo somewhere in your blog.

2. Answer these 10 questions, below, for fun if you want to.

3. Nominate 10 to 12 blogs you enjoy. Or you pick the number.

 4. Pay the love forward: Provide your nominee’s link in your post and comment on their blog to let them know they’ve been included and invited to participate.

5. Pay the love back with gratitude and a link to the blogger(s) who nominated you.

The Questions…

  1. What is your favourite colour?  Blue, sometimes red.
  2. What is your favourite animal? The cheeta.
  3. What is your favourite non-alcoholic drink? Pineaple (green).
  4. Facebook or Twitter? Boths are important social media to me.
  5. Favorite pattern? Really not sure how to answer this one…
  6. Do you prefer getting or giving presents? Giving.
  7. Favorite number? 7.
  8. Favorite day of the week? Friday.
  9. Favorite flower? Poppy (red hot, beautiful, sexy, daring and strong).
  10. What is your passion?  Writing poetry and helping small businesses.
I nominate the following blogs :
http://thesecretkeeper.net/ – The Secret Keeper, an extremely talented and passionate young woman with a difficult health position to cope with.
http://diabeticredemption.com/ – Judith, for all the hard work that she does to bring people together
http://boomiebol.wordpress.com/ – Boomiebol, a very talented African young woman who has come out with flying colors.
http://jingleyanqiu.wordpress.com/former blogger Ji (Jingle), now Aya Wilson, a wonderful young lady student from Italy, who i want to encourage to continue.
http://momonastoop.wordpress.com/momonastoop, for the important work she does teaching poetry to (underprivileged) children. Not all poets were dead white men.
http://poeticlicensee.wordpress.com/Poetic Licensee (Lindy Lee), for her “less is more, more is less” simplicity of language and storytelling poetry with great moral.
http://subhanzein.wordpress.com/ – Subhan Zein, a wonderful human and great writer. Visiting his site yields a great experience and example to any blogger.

I’m only just getting started here, so I’m sure there are many more that I have forgotten/will discover, and I look forward to meeting the poets of the world out there.

  1. Congratulations and thanks for the nomination. Have a safe and great weekend

    1. Thanks and same to you my dear friend

  2. Hi,

    I’m honored…

    Thanks a ton.

    1. The way you commented my poem “Sranan Tongo” also made a lasting impression on me. You are good.

  3. Wow! Thank you. I just saw this as I have been off my blog for awhile. I’ve barely done anything yet…and you’ve given me kind words. Thank you. I hope I can return the favor.

  4. You could certainly see your enthusiasm within the work you write.
The sector hopes for even more passionate writers
like you who aren’t afraid to say how they believe. All the time go after your heart.

    1. Thank you, for your kind words! It’s people like you who keep me writing.
