I love writing poetry

Of the short kind that is

In which every word

Must audition for its role

Be functional

In delivering the message

Just a sharp sting

Of an African killer bee

To the unwary brain

No rhyme or repetition

Thin on metaphors

And adjectives

Lean, mean and effective
