Wij moeten politiek
De ladder verleggen
En voor “pres” gaan
Zei een partijtopper
Alsof de volksmoraal
Niet het politiek
Meest verziekte aspect is
En het presidentschap
Het hoogst haalbare
Om na te streven
In een land
Van schoonheidsfouten
Waar eenoog koning is

We must politically
Shift the ladder
And go for “pres”
A party topper said
As if public morality
Isn’t the politically
Most diseased aspect
And the presidency
The highest aim
To pursue
In a country
Of cosmetic defects
Where one-eyed man is king
