Savannah Flower (Amerindians, Suriname)
My sweet, sweet
Savannah flower
Do you remember
How you used to
Tie me a hammock
While the peprewatra
Was rocking the pot
On the wood fire?
How someone silly
Would say something
Causing our bodies
To shake uncontrollably
With laughter?
