Child Soldier
Abducted like so many
Through the bush you march
Armed with an AK-47
To loot and kill
Forced to bring terror
Upon your family and village
Your mother’s warmth
You dare no more desire
Risking revenge and execution
Landmines must be removed
Dreams must be restored
When you finally come home
There will only be welcome
