Mashallah
Some people
Find it difficult to understand
The meaning of the Arabic word
‘Mashallah (By the will of God)’
Explained to me, like this:
A man was doing some work
In a utility hole on a sidewalk
When looking up, he saw
A gorgeous pair of legs above him
‘Mashallah!’, he exclaimed
Giving God praise for this wonder
Or blaming him for the temptation
He was subjected to
