The Human Spirit
Every system
Has it successes
And its victims
The people trapped
Between the Mexican
And the American borders
The degraded whites
In the democratic republic
Of South Africa
Or the jobless blacks
Still living in the townships
Success stories are noted
Where the human spirit prevails
