Verwonderlijk is het
Dat bij een volksopstand
Tegen de zittende regering
De oppositie zich
Geruisloos kan aansluiten
En er dus niets verandert
Aan de politieke moraal
Waarom niet afrekenen
Met de politieke elite
Aan beide zijden
Van het machtscentrum
Voor misdaden begaan
Nu en in het verleden?
Political Morals (Translation)
Surprising how
With a popular uprising
Against the incumbent government
The opposition
Can connect itself silently
Which does not alter
The political morals
Why not deal
With the political elite
On both sides
Of the power center
For crimes committed
Now and in the past?
