Consoling Arms
Some say
That the black woman
Will always adore black men
No matter their shortcomings
That she even prefers
To remain single
While the black man wanders
Into any interracial relationship
He sees fit
Until his final demise
When he is bound to fall back
Into the consoling arms
Of a black woman
