Brazil, a Silent Apartheid

Beauty is in the eye

Of the beholder, they say

But so is racial discrimination

Based on skin color alone

Take for instance

The hybrid nation of Brazil

Posing as a racial democracy

There is no bigger lie than that!

In a country where the majority

Of the population is black

Socially deprived and poor

The Samba picture is nothing more

Than that, of a silent Apartheid
