The Cost of an Erection
It was somewhere
In Central America
That I was offered
Turtle eggs
With Tabasco
As a hearty delicacy
Accompanied with a closed fist
And a look of understanding
Back then I considered that funny
But not now
Since I have come to know
The destructive cost
Of an alleged erection
