Liefst hanteer ik

Het kortgedicht

Als een kortzwaard

Gladius Poëticus

Om vrijelijk te hakken

Snijden of steken

In lijf aan lijf gevecht

Met mijn ratten

Maar meer nog

Om te graven

Naar het diepere in mij

In relatie tot jou

The short poem

As a short sword

Gladius Poeticus

To freely chop

Cut or stab

In hand-to-hand combat

With my rats

But even more

To dig

For the deeper in me
