The Shaman (Amerindians Suriname)
Medicine man
Spiritual healer
And protector is he
Smoking out sickness
With his herbal cigar
Returning to sender
Black magic arrows
And miniature sailing boats
Carrying bad spirits
As he appeases ancestors
In sacred old songs
On the eternal rhythm
Of his compelling maraca
