Pinched it over there

Softened it a little
Painted it
Kissed it
Then he blew life into it
Saying:
You, will be called WOMAN
Then God took a good look at what he made…
God whistled …
My translation of: Uma Soso (Oema Soso); poem by Robin Raveles (R Dobru), poet, politician, nationalist (Suriname 1935 – 1983).
