The Haka ~ Unity and Brotherhood
The spirit of the Haka
The intimidating Maori war dance
Performed by rugby sport teams
Of New Zealand
Kills me, makes my blood boil
Drives chills to my spine
Tears to my eyes
Why is it
That this bold public exhibition
Of unity and brotherhood
Affects me in such a way?
What warrior in me lifts his head
At the sound of cries and body slaps?
