Firefly ~ (For Dami)
As a Surinamese, she looks like
A nice traditional Indian girl
But clearly with a mind of her own
She may be sweet, playful
And mischievous even
But she has the heart of a lion
With zero tolerance for liars
Jokers or male dominance
An activist, a nationalist
A woman of the world
She boldly carves her own future
As a firefly, I light her by
