Dominica Will Rebuild ~ (Tropical Storm Erika)
It’s hard to imagine
A tiny Caribbean island
In harm’s way, on death row
Of a devastating tropical storm
Called Erika
Bracing itself for full impact
Being hit hard and thrown back
To pre-Columbian times
With high winds, heavy rains
Floods and mudslides
And still be able to say
Let’s pull ourselves together
Dominica will rebuild
