Me versus Me (The Epic Battle against Self-Doubt) ~ (For Nadine)
Me versus me, she writes
The epic battle of perseverance
Against self-doubt
The picture tells it all
The body language
The distrustful eyes
The sniff and flee mode
What evil seed
Was planted in her brain
To bring this self-suffering about?
Now she’s stumbling in the dark
Hoping for some exit to find
Out of this labyrinth of perpetual fear
