Nubian Queen ~ (For Marjolein)
I imagine you to come
From the ancient days
When the Kingdom of Egypt
Was ruled by Nubian queens
And kings called pharaohs
Like Nefertiti and Akhenaten
When the blue Nile
Was the mother of fertility
And her golden grains fed many
As far as Jerusalem
How the statue of the Great Sphinx
Was erected in your honor
And a pyramid, aligned with the stars
