Salcia

As a Surinamese woman

Of Indian descend

She really is one of a kind

With strong family values

And a maniacal memory

For dates, facts and sayings

Though love making

Only goes through her mind

As intimacy is not her thing

Loyalty to herself and her kids

Is what she is about

Yes, she sure knows her ropes

Especially the ones not to hang on
