Overwhelmingly Woman ~ (For Gerda)
Sometimes
A woman can be
So overwhelmingly woman
Or as Maya Angelou has put it
“Phenomenally woman”
Like a well revealing to its lid
(A male in this case)
A flash of its staggering depth
Completely taken by surprise
The man is dumbstruck
By this mystery we call woman
As at the same time he also learns
Something very important about himself
