Sisterhood ~ (For Salcia)
Now that the child
Has finally grown
Into a fully fledged woman
The mother-daughter relationship
Between them
Has somehow evolved
Into a soul spirit of sisterhood
The fight of the generations
Has subdued and matured
Into a kind of understanding
Which softly speaks
Through their postures
And their eyes
