Black Rain ~ (Suriname)
Black rain from heaven
On a sunny day!
First, red fayalobi flowers
And green palm trees
Against a bright blue sky
Then suddenly, from nowhere
Angry dark clouds
Like streams of crude
Pulling together
I flee into the house
As the first black drops fall
A natural disaster
Or a dreamed oil find?
