African Encounter
I saw you standing there
Waiting for somebody
And though we never met before
We said hello and kissed
Like it was the natural thing to do
Between a black man and a white woman
Countrymen, tourists in Africa
We danced on the beach that night
At a bonfire, to the sound of drums
On arrival back home, there was only
A nod and a smile for goodbyes
There are no real strangers
Only those whose paths have yet to cross
