Surinaamse Wijsheid
Ronduit irritant is het
Dat sommige jongeren
Van Surinaamse afkomst
Tegenover anderen doen
Alsof zij de wijsheid
In pacht hebben
Is het ze dan nooit verteld
Hoe Surinaamse onderwijzers
Op de fiets vroeger
De polders ingingen
Om landbouwers over te halen
Ook hun dochters
Naar school te sturen?
