Until something bad and ugly
Falls out and drops dead
Until you learn to love
The beautiful kid in you
Until all the hurt is transcended
And the crap accepted
As part of you
I will love you until you do
Until all the fear is gone
And happiness takes over
I will shake your tree
Until it’s done
