Pain and Glory
As a compulsive poet
I’ve collected a fair number
Of muses over time
I run from the gorgeous
To the beautiful and back
To keep them satisfied
They keep my pen moving
And my juices flowing
As they battle for attention
In my compulsive poet’s brain
Yes, I do adore women
For both the pain and glory
They inflict on a man’s life
