Rivers of Stones
I come from a land
In South America
Where rivers are huge
Like grey whales
And anything less
Is called a creek
Or a gutter
In Europe however
I have seen dry rivers
Made of stones
Waiting for snow caps
To melt and explode
Into the next flood disaster
