Ordinary Things of Life (Portugal)
Oh, how sweet would it be
To wake up in the old farmhouse
In the mountains of Portugal
To the sound of birds and water
Kissed by the early morning sun
To stroll the woods with my dog
(What shall I name him?)
Chasing wild hogs out of bushes
Going for a swim near the falls
Quietly having breakfast together
Oh, how happy would it make me
To have a chat with the neighbor
About the ordinary things of life
About this entry
