Amazon Warrior (for Marion)
A primeval mother
Amazon warrior
Is she
Protector and champion
Of vulnerable life
And even though
An avid sower of love
She may be
Her heart belongs to no one
But her own
A free spirit made to fly
At the slightest claim
From any man she will flee
