Innocence
Afraid I was of things
Threatening to rob me
Of my innocence
But at the same time
I knew, it’s nature’s way
To educate curiosity
Like the baby lizard
From the little white egg
I broke deliberately
The image of a big belly
With an unborn child
Or the dress that dropped
Ultimately, for me to see
