Kintsukuroi – The Beauty of Having been Broken
Kintsukuroi
Is the Japanese art
Of fixing broken pottery
With gold or silver lacquer
‘Things are more beautiful
Having been broken’
Makes me wonder
If this also holds true
In a romantic relationship
Where making-up sex
Has become an addiction
And walking on eggs
The name of the game
