Genocidal Darkness – Rwanda
Today we commemorate
That twenty years ago
One hundred days
Of genocidal darkness
Fell over Rwanda
When one million Tutsis
Were slaughtered
To a horrible death
By disturbed Hutu militia
Called upon by radio
And man nor God
Could stop this ordeal
Of brother against brother
