A New Day (For Soesje)
As she wakes up
One morning
To soothing sounds
Of tropical rain
She feels all pain
Tears and sorrow
Being washed away
A new life awaits
With the dawn of day
She then makes
A promise of love
And devotion to herself
Of happiness over anything else
