The Impact of Beauty
‘Beauty is in the eye
Of the beholder,’ they say
Conveniently excluding the blind
As if this unique experience
Is only visually induced
In the visually or otherwise
Provoked emotional response
Lies the impact of
What moves us to the core
Sweeps us of our feet
Is acknowledged instantly
By the inner being
Of whom we really are
