Some Things Dutch
The impeccable reputation
The Dutch generally enjoy
Has always surprised me
To a certain extent
There is truth in the saying
‘God created the world
And the Dutch made Holland’
But, as the Dutch use to say
‘Money doesn’t stink’
Not even if it comes from slavery,
Colonization or genocide
History has a short memory
Concerning some things Dutch
