Strange Ducks ~ (Suriname)
The problem is
That we from Suriname
Think we are Dutch
But we’re only strange ducks
On the coast of South-America
With a European attitude
Making filthy noises
Leftovers from colonialism
Still mirroring their masters
It’s only recently
We have come to realize
That we must adjust
Or shut up
