Moet apart blijven

Zei iemand ooit

Eenheid

In verscheidenheid

Als staatsmodel

Voor vrede

En veiligheid

Maar tegen welke prijs?

Het menselijk recht

Om grenzeloos lief te hebben

Of op straffe

Van een groepsidentiteit?

 

Unity in Diversity (Translation)

What’s distinct

Should remain separate

Someone once said

Unity

In diversity

As a state model

For peace

And security

But at what cost?

The human rights

To love boundlessly

Or under penalty

Of a group identity?
