Sukwa (Turai, Angled Luffa)
See that long sukwa
Hanging there so secretly
Between the greens
Like it doesn’t belong at all
In gramma’s garden
Dropped by birds maybe?
I remember one instance
How surprisingly well it tasted
With rice and curry
But then again
Most things taste good
With rice and curry
Is it waiting
For bad times to come?
