Girl Planting Rice
Bent and sun tanned
She stands
Almost knee deep
In muddy waters
Planting green
Tender shoots of rice
In soft wombs of earth
Her slender body
Rising and stretching
From time to time
With one hand pressed
Against her lower back
The other over sweaty eyes
